The 24th Minesweeping Flotilla was a
minesweeping
flotilla of the
Royal Australian Navy . It was based at
Darwin, Northern Territory during the
Second World War and consisted of
HMAS Deloraine ,
Katoomba ,
Lithgow and later
Armidale .
