The 2019 Grand Rapids mayoral election took place on November 5, 2019, to elect the mayor of
Grand Rapids, Michigan . This was the last election for mayor to take place in an odd-year after Grand Rapids voters approved Prop 1 in 2020, which moved city elections to even years, 57% to 43%.

Rosalynn Bliss faced a challenge from Daniel Allen Schutte, a local pastor and candidate for the
75th District of
Michigan House of Representatives .
