Tennis tournament
The 1996 Lipton Championships was a
tennis tournament played on
outdoor hard courts . It was the 12th edition of the
Miami Masters and was part of the
Mercedes Super 9 of the
1996 ATP Tour and of
Tier I of the
1996 WTA Tour . Both the men's and women's events took place at the
Tennis Center at Crandon Park on
Key Biscayne ,
Florida in the United States from March 22 through March 31, 1996.
