Van Rensburg teamed up with Mike De Palmer and successfully defended his title, by defeating Andrés Gómez and Sherwood Stewart 3–6, 6–2, 7–6(7–4) in the final. [2]

In men's doubles, Christo van Rensburg and Mike Depalmer posted a 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) victory over the top-seeded team of Gomez and Sherwood Stewart. The final point came when Stewart hammered a forehand that nicked the net and bounded over the backline.
