January 26 to 28 - According to Japan National Police Agency confirmed report, a man with a hunting gun pushed into a bank branch for 42 hours, a bank robbery who took more than 30 hostages in
Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka , killing two banking staff and two police officers, the suspect was shot dead by special riot police on 28 January.
