The 10 Hours of Messina ( Italian: 10 ore di Messina or 10 ore notturna messinese) was a sports car race, organized by the Automobile Club d'Italia, [1] held for the first time on 24 August 1952 in the street circuit of Messina, Italy. [2] From 1959 it was replaced by Messina Grand Prix. [3]

The American 1961 Formula One world champion Phil Hill won the race in 1956 driving a Ferrari.
