You can preview different little bits of it by searching through the book for "Panthera" and "pathanensis".
Let me know you think if it would be useful for me to request an interlibrary loan (which can be physical or digital) for chapter 105 of "Proceedings of Fourth Pakistan Congress of Zoology" through my university. The second WorldCat link says that University of Minnesota, Twin Cities has a copy, and both it and my university are in the Big Ten Academic Alliance, so it should be more likely to be accepted and should be processed faster, compared to it being at some unaffiliated institution.
A lead! Thank you! I've had a hard enough time finding this source to say yes, please request the interlibrary loan. I think that might actually be what I'm looking for. Happy editing,

In the Department of Zoology, Punjab University, the total number of the speciments of fossil Carnivora is eighteen. More collection was made last year. The total number of species that discovered is sixteen. Of these four i.e. Vishnucyon nagriensis, Sivaonyx minor, Lycaena felina and Panthera dhokpathanensis are new. 1906 article in Arts and Crafts
Maryon, Herbert (March 1906). "Metal Work". Arts and Crafts.
According to the below article, The March number of "Arts and Crafts" is, as usual, full of articles which are intended to provide students and art workers with useful information on a variety of subjects in which they are interested. The most important of these articles are "Various Methods of Finishing Oak," by Mr. W. Daniell; "Metal Work," by Mr. H. J. Maryon; "Practical Talks about Wood-Carving," by Mr. H. Turner; "Inlaying," by Mr. A[rthur] C[awdron] Horth; and "Bookbinding," by Mr.
F. Sangorski and Mr. G. Sutcliffe. Among the more notable illustrations are reproductions of drawings by
Henner,
E. Detaille, and
Feyen Perrin.
The starting point is to figure out what journal this is—a task not helped by its generic name. There's a good chance that this is a small journal that didn't last long. The article would be Maryon's second published work that I'm aware of, five months after "Early Irish Metal Work", in another small journal. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

How's this going? If you're having trouble with the ILL, I should be able to request an ILL for
OCLC225804755 pretty easily, as my university is within the Big Ten Academic Alliance, and so is one of the libraries that has it. If you received it but it's not the right magazine, if you send me the full newspaper article that prompted your search, I can try to figure out what else it might be.
Solomon Ucko (

Thanks,

Citations from old Art and living magazines
Hello. I'm trying to determine whether there are enough sources to save
Richard Whitney (artist). At present the article has no citations at all, but it does quote from
Town & Country (magazine) and Fine Art Connoisseur, though without detailed citations.
The subject has provided me with more useful citations, but I can't find those articles online (I can find the issue of Fine Art Connoiseur in archive.com, but not the article). I can't see a resource in
WP:LIBRARY that looks promising.
I've put all the information I have in the citations: I realise it's incomplete, and I will be asking the subject for more info (see
WP:HD#Author request deletions on my Gallery at Richard Whitney (artist)).
Anybody got access to either of these?

I have received a scan of the "The Fine Touch", but the only mention I see of Whitney is in a similar list: "As tempting as it is to highlight them, this highly selective survey bypasses the giants of the field whose work is so familiar to most readers: Among them are [...], and Richard Whitney. Having weathered the relatively lean years of the 1950s-80s, these huge talents have attained varying degrees of celebrity, inspired several generations of younger artists, and found their rightful places in museum collections. Several have been profiled in this magazine already, and others are scheduled for the months ahead." (p. 56)
Solomon Ucko (

Here are some more sources I found that might be useful beyond a trivial mention; many of them are available publicly or though the Wikipedia Library; let me know if you can't access any of them and I'll see what I can do. I'm not sure to what extent they're independent of the subject and the Wikipedia page, though... Make sure to check the footer, since at least one of them says they copied text provided by him, without any editing or vetting.

Holl, Philippe; Flahaut, Patrick (2007). La seconde guerre mondiale au Touquet (in French). Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire: Éditions Alan Sutton.
ISBN978-2-84910-692-1.
The first article is available through OpenEdition, but The Wikipedia Library access to it is broken, hence my request.
The second and third books are very likely offline, and I don't have relevant pages, so I'd appreciate someone with ILL (buying ILL vouchers). Obviously I cannot and will not request everything, but I need some info about what was happening, how many Germans were living in that city, what they were doing there, what did they do with the women, elderly and children who remained in the resort, preparations for the
Atlantic Wall as relevant to the city and the reason why Le Touquet was so densely mined even though it had little intrinsic military value. Any relevant excerpts that will reflect on this issue will be welcome. I want to make a text that's max 2 paragraphs, beginning from the internment order of enemy males under 60.
Thanks for the ping. It seems that their page is moribund, as it doesn't even get a dozen edits every year. I would definitely have asked them (I had a book or two to ask about

Aldabra fody, as I am doing a major expansion of the article and I cannot figure out who the first author to use the synonym Foudia eminentissima aldabrana was; I think it was most probably Moreau, but I need confirmation (strangely, no taxonomic database I have visited has mentioned this name, but it is brought up by the IUCN and others without making it clear who used it first). If not here, Birds of the World, which I also cannot access, may have some information.
Thanks,
Bruce1ee, unsure why I couldn't find it there. Sadly, it does not use the name F. e. aldabrana, but it does state that the bird is most likely conspecific with a different fody. Unsure where to go from here.

The Wonderful Sea-Horse (Iranian folktale), which was a tale provided by Masdi Galin Hanom. I already have a translated version printed in 1950 - which I will be going over -, but the German book contains the German translation (which I suppose is a more faithful translation of her tale) and notes by Ulrich Marzolph. Tale nr. 2 is another Iranian variant of tale type 314, but a summary cannot identify which is which.

(I found a way to see a list of all my cancelled requests, and there thankfully aren't any others.)
The only library listed on WorldCat for it (

Please let me know if there's anything else you'd like me to try for that book. If you find some way my university can get it, let me know and I'll let my library staff know.
I am not sure what you are specifically interested in, but to my mind comes the English translation of Sir Richard Burton's
1001 Nights. As a warning, it contains explicit material, so it should be handled with care. Many of the motives found in Eastern folklore, tales etc. can me found there. As a side note, was it
Vladimir Propp, the Soviet folklorist, who gave numbers to various motifs encountered in European fairytales? Are you interested in any motif in particular?

I gave the request a deadline of about a month, and it has accordingly been cancelled. Given that it doesn't seem to be in the print version, I'm not sure if there's much they can do anyways.
Based on my limited understanding from cognates and photographs, I do see some articles in the print version that seem to be about police and/or terrorism, such as:
"Terrormisstänkt man jagas av Säpo" (p. 8)
"Krigsscener under razzia" (p. 10)
"17 döda i räd efter gruvexplosion" (p. 20)
"Så blev kärlekens stad ett terrornäste" (p. 28)
Let me know if you think any of these might possibly be useful, and I'll send you them.
Additionally, I have access to various news databases, so if you let me know what you're looking for information about, I can try to help you find another source for it.
I just noticed that it's in Press Reader's collection, which I have access to through my public library, so I searched for the title, and manually looked through the issue for that date (
https://www.pressreader.com/sweden/svenska-dagbladet/20151119/page/1), but found nothing.
I'll try putting in a request for an interlibrary loan for the digital version with an explanatory note, but I'm not sure if it'll work.

Shankar Raman, have you tried asking folks over at

Can anyone also point me towards release info for both the US and UK for Civilization II that doesn't contain original research? (US) Usenet forums specify an in-stores date of March 13 through the following sources:

In this case, I suspect the tale is an Iranian variant, since Mirza and Bibi are the names of the characters in other Iranian-language variants. Anna Rozenfeld was a Tajik Iranist, and in the "Preface" she might have indicated the source for the tale.

Doc Taxon: Since this one is available in German libraries, would you be able to help?
For either of these, I can attempt to request an interlibrary in March, when they're least busy, but I'm at a university in the US, so I'm not sure how likely it is to work or how long it'll take.
Los príncipes convertidos en piedra y otros cuentos tradicionales persas was automatically canceled because they were "Unable to find supplier".
In contrast, Persidskie narodnye skazki has had the request sent, so it might work, though I have no idea how long it could take and if it'll actually end up working, but I hope so.
!! I've tried to find Rozenfeld's book before, to no avail. But thank you!

On reading the tale, it is indeed a variant of "Snake-Prince Sleepy-Head", for the main characters are called Bibi and Mirza.

The first source is a book that discusses the development of Canadian music in the early 2000s. This chapter in particular talks about Godspeed You! Black Emperor, including the album Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven. While I can somewhat access it on Google Books, it does not have page numbers, and not all the pages are available. The footnotes from the book I have added to the article in question are guesswork because I do not know the exact page numbers and would like a stable copy for verification and ease.
The rest are reviews of the album taken from either the review score sidebar already in the article or the album's entry on Metacritic. I have applied on the Wikipedia Library to access Rock's Backpages, but there's no guarantee I will find them there.
I have added two additional sources for request: the media notes for both formats of the album: back cover, liner notes, additional artwork, etc. I seemingly cannot find them in full online and given the added artwork and unusual tracklist, at least according to sources, I doubt
Discogs would be useful. I mostly need them to verify for myself the contents and the personnel behind the album.

I think the ones that are left are "Glacial Geology of the Yukon-Tanana Upland", "The Colter Formation: Evidence for Miocene Volcanism in Jackson Hole, Teton County, Wyoming", and "Selected References for Region 1 (Alaska): Region 1", which I'll probably request soon (feel free to remind me if I forget), and front matter for two geology symposia, for which I'll wait a couple weeks due to their limited holdings.
I've submitted requests for "Glacial Geology of the Yukon-Tanana Upland", "The Colter Formation: Evidence for Miocene Volcanism in Jackson Hole, Teton County, Wyoming", and "Selected References for Region 1 (Alaska): Region 1". I'm still waiting for "Tholeiitic hydrothermal systems of the Aleutian volcanic arc", but it appears to be in progress.
For "Volcanic Hazards on the Alaska Peninsula and in the Aleutian Islands", the abstract is publicly visible, but
the author has passed away, so I think the best bet for getting anything beyond that would be to contact his colleagues, but I'm not sure how likely that is to succeed. Should I give it a try, though?

https://scholarworks.alaska.edu/handle/11122/6306. Is that enough?
"Frontmatter, Alaska Geological Society, 2001 Geology Symposium, April 27–28, 2001" and "Frontmatter: Alaska Geological Society 2003 Geology Symposium April 25–26, 2003, Natural Sciences Building, University of Alaska Fairbanks": should I try to request ILL for these?

I'm willing to give it a try, but why those pages? Are you specifically interested in the aftermath of the 1669 eruption? FWIW, I found a citation to that page range in

Yes, I am interested in the aftermath and management of the 1669 eruption - I guess the issue is that 121 pages is an entire book, yes? For Huaynaputina, 24-30 might work.

Meanwhile, my request for Noi donne was sent to some library via a manual (and therefore slower) process on February 12th. I guess they're either waiting for a reply or are being slow to process the reply.

I'm thinking about an idea for a meta search engine that tells you which databases have what you're looking for, but getting it working well and getting database providers on board might be difficult, especially since it needs to balance usefulness and usability against the interests of the providers... (e.g. they might not want to share a full copy of their full database, but they might be willing to share some kind of index or provide API access.)
Meanwhile, I submitted these requests about an hour and a half ago; hopefully they won't drift around for another month before getting canceled again...
Thanks for sending the article.

My request for it is currently pending; the last status update I see is that my university library sent out a request on paper on February 12th. They're now either waiting for a response or being slow to process it. I can cancel my request, but I'm not sure if the lending library will be aware.

Sollyucko: I found all of these through ProQuest.
Not sure why the Grand Rapids Press article isn't showing up in their archives - if it's helpful, the author is Terry Deboer, and the article was published on page 7.
As for the Chicago Sun-Times articles, "Former pop 'Idol' turns to Christian music" is by Colleen Long and was published on page 8, while "Runners-up are anything but idle ; Though they didn't win, just being on the show put some singers' fame on fast-forward" is by Karu F Daniels and was published on page 39.
You're right - "SOME ALSO-RAN SUCCESS STORIES" and "How can you keep them down on the farm ...?" are identical articles to each other, which I somehow failed to notice, and do seem to be an exact match with the second article at the bottom of the Ocala webpage - thanks for pointing that out!
"Found!" is actually part of the title for the USA Today article, so I'm still looking for that one. If you're able to track it down by any chance, let me know! Thanks for your help already! --

They're not in my university's ProQuest subscription, but they are in Wikipedia's and some are in my public library's, but I can't see the full text, only an abstract and metadata. I wish I could be logged into all of those subscriptions at the same time rather than having to constantly switch between them...
FYI for any future requests you might make (and also for when you're citing sources), the more information you can specify about where to find the source, the easier it'll be for us to find and get it for you. Publisher, location, and ISSN help disambiguate publications with the same name, and ISSN in particular makes searching for it way easier, and can allow my ILL (inter-library loan) requests to get semi-automatically processed within 24 hours. Page numbers allow locating the article without checking every single page, and are often a requirement for ILL. Author names can sometimes make searching for it easier. Specifying the database you used allows others to check that database to see if they have additional access and to check for any metadata that they might find useful if you didn't already mention it. Things like subjects and summaries are usually omitted, since they take up a lot of space but provide limited value.
I've put in ILL requests for #1–4.
I got #1 (the US Today article) from the Internet Archive about half an hour after submitting it. I swear I tried to search for it there myself first, but maybe I searched for USA instead of US? Anyways, here's a link; let me know if you'd like me to send you the whole PDF I received:

The second one I can request via inter-library loan if you let me know which article(s) you're going to use it for, and I'll try to figure out which page range to request a scan of.

Newspapers.com has a lot of relevant sources; have you tried searching through there? You should have access through the Wikipedia Library.
I can try to request an interlibrary loan for this if you'd like, but note that
WP:RSP says that Who's Who (UK) is considered "generally unreliable". Also note that that the summary there and
[17] say that it is (primarily) written by the subjects themselves, so make sure to take
WP:ABOUTSELF into account if you do decide to use it.
This is interesting. The AfD closed with a decision to keep the page as it was decided that Who's Who was a reliable enough proof of notability, and I didn't know enough about Who's Who at the time to contest it, but I don't really want to re-open the AfD. I'll withdraw my request. Thank you very much though.

If needed, I guess I could request the whole book and try to look through it myself, but I don't read Slovak, and I don't know if it has a useful index or table of contents, and I'd rather not look through 211 pages, so that might be too difficult.
@
Sollyucko: I know he is mentioned in there because when I searched for "Holúbek Radoslav" (in quotes) on Google Books on 6 February, that book showed up as the only result, meaning there must have been a text or metadata match. It didn't say the page number, and frustratingly now when I search for that phrase GBooks says no results. Using some context we know about the person (i.e. his time period and event), we would have to find him in the whole book, I think. --

Habst: I'm having trouble finding any mention of Radoslav Holúbek in this book. I checked all the chapters and sections with no date or with a date on or after 1994. For alphabetical lists, I looked for both "Radoslav" and "Holúbek"; otherwise, I skimmed the whole thing. Should I look for any earlier years or any other spellings of his name?
If I don't get a response in about a week, or if my loan is recalled sooner, I'm planning to return the book then.
Yet when we tried to look in the book, we couldn't find the name. As a hobby programmer, I'm very confused about this, because I don't see how Google could be displaying this book as the only result for the query in quotes if the search term wasn't present. At the same time, I don't want to hassle Sollyucko any more as it seems like he has already put in significant effort and time to search through it, and he has already looked through all of my recommendations based on my read of the front matter. For the next person to pick this up, maybe contacting the book author would be the best next step. Thank you again to Sollyucko. --

Habst: Yeah, I see it now too, huh. It shows up without a page number and is marked as "No Preview", and the metadata doesn't mention a library they obtained it from, so I don't know if they have the full text but are refusing to share it, or if they only have metadata.
As a test, I tried searching Google Books for various phrases in the book, and only some of them include the book in the search results, so I'm very confused. I suspect that at least one of the following is taking place:
I keep making typos
Google has a bad OCR of the book
Google only has text for part of the book
Google is intentionally hiding some results due to copyright/licensing restrictions
Google doesn't actually have full text for the book, and is just guessing based on the book's metadata and references from other sources to the book
IDK what else could cause this, but let me know if you think of any other possiblities
Google Books is super useful, but its search results are so finicky, inconsistent, and unreliable; I find it very frustrating...
I plan to hold on to the book for a few more days in case anyone has any more ideas or anything else they'd like me to try, but I'll need to return it eventually, and I'm not sure there's much point in keeping it for too much longer.

Smpad: Here are the key parts of the emails so far:
I'm looking for information about Anton Çelebi, and found your talk titled "Who is the Lawful Heir?: Anton Çelebi’s Trans-imperial Inheritance Case between Florence and Istanbul" that you presented at METU and Turkologentag in 2023. Beyond your abstract for that talk (
https://historiansnet.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Gamze-Yavuzer-Anton.pdf), are you able and willing to share any materials you presented, or any additional information you know about Anton Çelebi?
— me, 5 days ago
May I ask what your work is on Anton, and what exactly do you need for your research?
— Dr. Gamze Yavuzer, yesterday
In this case, I'm asking on behalf of another user on Wikipedia, who says they're planning to use it as a source to improve the Wikipedia article about Anton Çelebi (
/info/en/?search=Anton_%C3%87elebi). Therefore, if you'd be willing to help with that, I'd appreciate any information or sources about any notable details or events that aren't yet mentioned in the article. If you're not interested in supporting this, that's fine, just please let me know.
If possible, I'd like to be able to cite a published/accessible source that directly states each fact mentioned in the article, so that future readers can verify where the information came from. As long as the sources are available somewhere that can be publicly accessed (needing to pay is okay), such as being available from a public library, a public or subscription website or database, a publisher or retailer or reseller, or any other similar location, that's enough; being formally published by a publisher isn't the only option. Sources can be written documents, audio or video recordings, or any other kind of media.
Are you able and willing to provide copies of or citations to any sources written by you or anyone else that could help with this?
— me, yesterday
I'm now waiting for a reply to this, which I expect will take a few days.
I've checked the existing Wikipedia page on Anton Chelebi and it seems that the author of the page is already aware of the project on Anton and his brother Hasan. I worked on this project last year and now the PI of this project is working on a book on these brothers. When the book is published, there will be more information to add. For now, however, I cannot add anything more than what is already available on the project's website.
Thank you very much,
colleague! With respect,

I got #8 (Ducrocq, 1995. The contribution of Paleogene anthracotheriid artiodactyls in the paleobiogeographical history of Southern Europe. Neues Jahrbuch fur Geologie und Palaontologie Monatshefte, no. 6, p. 355–362.).
P.S. I also got #2, and my university's off-site library has vols. 51 and 60 (1974) of
OCLC1777405, so I've requested scans of #3 and #5; note that for #5 the year appears to be 1965, unless you'd like part II (see
[28]).
As for #4, #7, #9, #10, and #11, please see the top of the page: "Due to copyright restrictions, we cannot send you full book/thesis copies. Narrow down your request to a specific chapter or page(s)."
As for #1, #6, and #12, my university doesn't have these, but I can request interlibrary loans for them if you'd like.
Thank you very much, I received some of the articles! I would be grateful if you could help with others.

Arctodus-simus: Alright, I've requested #1, #6, and #12. For the books (and one massive multi-volume article), please use a source such as Google Books or HathiTrust to identify specific page numbers you're interested in. Alternatively, if you let me know what to look for, I can request the whole book in print and try to find the relevant parts (I'm not sending the whole thing), but please note that English is my native language, I studied French for 3 years a few years ago, and I have no specific education in German, since this impacts my ability to find relevant parts of the book.
I've received a scan of #6. The two main parts are titled "Artiodactyla. Fam. Anoplotheriidae Gray, 1821¹)" (with a corresponding footnote that I can transcribe if you're interested) and "Perissodactyla. Fam. Palaeotheriidae Bonaparte, 1850." Are you also interested in working on articles about perissodactyls or only about artiodactyls specifically?
I can try to request this by interlibrary loan, but do you have any idea what page numbers might be useful? If not, I can try to request the whole thing, but I'm not sure how successful that'll be, given the limited holdings (see
OCLC16257906) and possible copyright issues with scanning the whole thing. If you're not sure what the page numbers are, and I can't get the whole thing, I'll try asking for a table of contents and/or index (hopefully it has something like that), and then we can use that to figure out what page numbers to ask for.
I don‘t really know if there is any content in this book relating to my topic but I think it should be at the end (April 1945…). So I unfortunately don‘t know which pages are relevant. The table of content/ index could be helpful here if it exist.
I‘m appreciate your help. Maybe you have luck to get the whole book.
Don‘t know if the copyright thing is the same as it is for some photos of the US Army Signal Corps??
„ This file is a work of a U.S. Army soldier or employee, taken or made as part of that person's official duties. As a work of the U.S. federal government, it is in the public domain in the United States.“
@
Archivar-Alex: Yeah, makes sense. It is created by a US Army soldier, but I'm not sure if it's considered part of their official duties. Anyways, I've attempted to request this, and I'll let you know what response I get. Please
email me so I can send you files.
I used to have this magazine and used it for this article, but no longer have it. I cannot do spotchecks without the supplied issue text and unable to pass GA examination.
I have access to this in full. We can't send you the full thesis due to copyright, but if you contact me via
Special:EmailUser, I'll send you the parts that seem to me to be relevant to an article about tumbleweed in general.

Hi all, if anyone can access these papers, would it be possible to look at p. 8 of the Daily Worker on Wednesday, 03 November 1937, and (sorry) an unknown page of the same publication from 6 February 1937?
Their set-up seems to be that you can search and get results with no account. Then you can sign up for free and see biggish images of those results. But still too small to actually read so it's then of course that it has to become a paying subscription.Leastwise, I couldn't work out how to do it any other way.
I don't know the title, but it's in
Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper, was published in 2006 on September 2nd (or February 9th), it's apperantly on the 3rd page of print edition. And it should be about police visit to Rotterdam Zoo, caused by maned wolf
specific scent.
I tried searching myself, but search function on SZ website is a bit lacking. SZ has two archives:
one is navigable by date+category (and I don't know the category), the
other is less-than-open.
I have access to Dow Jones Factiva through my university; searching it for that publication, that date, and "Rotterdam" finds an article titled "Ganz weit draußen (VI): Warum Haig Balian jetzt im Amsterdamer Tierpark lebt; Eine Vorliebe für echte Hyänen; Als Filmproduzent hat er erlebt, was Fressen und Gefressenwerden heißt – er ließ das Kino hinter sich, um als Zoodirektor die Tiere in Szene zu setzen" on page 3. I have access to the full text through Factiva as well; I'll send you that when I get a chance.
@
Sollyucko, thanks for searching! While it appears that found article is unrelated (about someone filming hyenas), a bit about maned wolf may be somewhere on the same page, something like small blurb. Anyway, it's not very important citation.

Draft:Devin gambit, I have been looking for sources to expand on the 3. ...d5 lines. According to Chessable search, this course has some material about a particular line in this gambit (1.d4 Nf6 2. c4 e6 3. g4 d5), and I suspect that the relevant text content is in the "16) 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 - 3rd Move Alternatives" chapter. This was played by Espineko in response to Mamedyarov's use of the gambit in the
2022 Tata Steel Masters at
Wijk aan Zee. If I could get just the text explanation of each of the variations involving the move order 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3. g4 d5, as if one were in the "book" mode, that would be sufficient.
Thanks in advance for any help! :) And no problem if it is impossible. I'm kind of scraping barrels here! Best,

The reason being it would be easy for you to ctrl-f, but if only the physical version, well, I'm looking for anything relating to
this chap, who died there. But without an index, you'd have to read the whole thing! An unacceptable demand on WP:VOL time, I agree :) Are there any obvious chapter headings, such as 'The Irish at..'? If not, then I'm out of ideas. Sorry to be so vague—I was really relying on an index! Thanks again for any help you can give, but if not possible, it's completely understood. Cheers,

Serial Number 54129, it is indeed in print, but here's what I found on the pages Sollyucko listed:
p. 27: nothing relevant
p. 178: "
p. 262: just an excerpt from
Monks 1985 translated into Spanish (from "In the early morning of St. Stephen’s Day" to "got under the hives in groups to sleep").
p. 299: nothing relevant
p. 303: "Thomas Woods of Dublin" included without commentary on a list of people who died at Lopera
p. 348: lyrics of the song "
Viva la Quinta Brigada" reprinted and translated (very literally...) into Spanish
That's all I have for you...not much to write home about, unfortunately.

BTW, on HathiTrust, I can't see any of the text (not even previews or snippets) of books that are copyrighted in the US and not CC-licensed, but I can search through any book they have for words or phrases to see which pages they occur on and how often, as in my screenshot at
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WWewse5lRcswKVpONqFD_t8ixbSchVcn. Are you not able to do this? The website doesn't seem to mention anything about any kind of restrictions for this feature, and it works even when I'm not on my university's network, but I suppose it's possible it could be US-only?
I am currently planning to create the Rotaciurca article, and need an accessible version of the paper to do so, however all versions of the article are paywalled and have no available PDFs. In addition, the Wikipedia Library doesn’t have a free version of the paper either.

Draft:Devin gambit. I'm looking at page 16 of
this source, which states that there is coverage of the gambit in Schiller's book ("Devin’s 3. g4 is also in the Eric Schiller’s Gambit Chess Openings, where Schiller assesses the position at move 3 as better for Black"). Unfortunately the book is not at the IA library, and it's not searchable on google. I'd only need the portion of the book that relates to this particular gambit (1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e6 3. g4), but I don't have page numbers owing to the lack of google preview.
According to the ToC, it could be p. 570 of the book. I found some discussion of this gambit in another of his books, Unorthodox Chess Openings (p. 201-202), which I sent you via wikimail. It is a very short fragment but maybe it will help.
