WikiProject Illinois uses Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Illinois to monitor all Illinois articles needing images. In addition, this category helps Wikipedian photographers, living in Illinois, to locate those subjects near where they typically take photographs. The imageneeded= and in= parameters of {{ WikiProject Illinois}} populate this category.

  • To request an image for an article, use the imageneeded=yes parameter in the {{ WikiProject Illinois}} talk page template. Please use the in= parameter in the {{ WikiProject Illinois}} template to specify the Illinois county, where the photograph may be taken. Up to three locations may be specified, for example:
