Jackson Rogers moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Jackson Rogers, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. ( ?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed ( verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The Jackson Rogers Article

I have not deleted the Jackson Rogers article but have moved it to Draft:Jackson Rogers because it appeared to be unsourced & for biographical articles sourcing is very pertinent so please before moving it back to mainspace ensure to add least three reliable sources, if you any further questions ensure to come to my talk page & ask me whatever you feel like asking. I am also available to provide guidance for you if you are need of any. Cheers. Celestina007 ( talk) 19:17, 28 January 2020 (UTC) reply

Notability in 2020 article

Your edit to the article 2020 has been reverted. Add only events with significant international coverage. Do not add events that are solely domestic. Your 18.3 C temperature inn Argentina has no notability. It has broken no records. Unless its the hottest temperature recorded like in 56.7 °C in 10 July 1913 in Furnace Creek US or the coldest −89.2 °C in Antarctica in 1983 it is not notable, clearly a domestic event and violation of Wikipedia:Recentism. Your contribution is highly respected but please only add events that are internationally notable in the 2020 article and do not add purely domestic events. Dilbaggg ( talk) 22:36, 7 February 2020 (UTC) reply

The Argentina thing was not mine and I posted the thing of the Super Bowl which is understandable if it was taken down because it only applies to the US. Jerry Steinfield ( talk) 23:06, 7 February 2020 (UTC) reply

Regarding the block

Hi, the reason for your block was that you were repeatedly creating articles about non-famous people, and you did that even after repeated warnings.

Regarding your use of violent words, you were 'only' given a temporary talk page ban, which i see is not applicable anymore.

Tbe first amendment is not completely applicable on this site though, you can see Wikipedia: Free Speech for more details. Daiyusha ( talk) 08:50, 8 February 2020 (UTC) reply

How is that inappropriate I added it where United States was linked to the country so it could be clicked. I’ve seen that when it says the US it links to the US with the flag there. I do appreciate the link about why but that doesn’t necessarily solve it. Hi Jerry Steinfield, strange messages like this one, or the one at the top of your talk page, indicate severe communication issues between other editors and you. There is no right to free speech on Wikipedia, the discussion started in April, and there is no requirement to sort talk page messages by date. We encourage every editor to be bold. However, the patience of the community is limited. I'm not sure what I can suggest: Please make less mistakes? You're acting in good faith, but it often seems to go wrong. I'm not sure if you can solve this problem at all, but if it persists, I'm afraid a block for disruptive editing may reoccur. Is it the language, perhaps? Then see meta:List of Wikipedias, please. Best regards, ~ ToBeFree ( talk) 01:20, 1 May 2020 (UTC) reply
While I was typing, Special:Diff/954167424 happened. I'd say "Come on, please use your common sense", but perhaps that's the problem. ~ ToBeFree ( talk) 01:24, 1 May 2020 (UTC) reply

I assure you I speak English same as the rest of the words on the talk page. And okay the communication started 2 minutes before 2 freaking minutes. Okay I’ll as admit it was April 30 when they conversation started. I am a new editor so I make mistakes and I try to do what I can but most times I get warned for something that I didn’t know was against the guidelines of Wikipedia. It is very complicated, but I thank you for trying to reassure some things. I’ve been bombarded by several people in my time on Wikipedia and it’s seems like they don’t necessarily understand that my edits are either in good faith or are minor mistakes. Jerry Steinfield ( talk) 01:40, 1 May 2020 (UTC) reply

Jerry Steinfield, you would have my sympathies, but Special:Diff/934968581 (your first message here), Special:Diff/938286435 (your second message here), Special:Diff/938281648 (your third message here) and Special:Diff/938334134/ Special:Diff/938334283 (your reaction to the previous block) as well as other edits on other pages put you in a tough position to complain about other users' behavior. So I'm afraid you'll have to accept the warnings; there is no "newbie bonus" left. ~ ToBeFree ( talk) 01:49, 1 May 2020 (UTC) reply

Yes I agree I have made mistakes in the past but I wish I could take it all away, but who wouldn’t. I do not intend vandalism as i just won’t to help the community. Jerry Steinfield ( talk) 01:55, 1 May 2020 (UTC) reply

🙂 You are allowed to remove all messages from this talk page (see WP:BLANKING), perhaps to symbolize a clean start. I recommend using a friendly edit summary when doing so, to explain that you're not doing this because you're upset, but rather because you understand the past mistakes and would like to archive these bad memories. ~ ToBeFree ( talk) 02:12, 1 May 2020 (UTC) reply

Recent edit reversion

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick (Talk) 13:07, 15 March 2021 (UTC) reply

While I don’t see any direct violations of copyright, the website itself seems like something I could sight. The information is true, and I’m not sure why you’d want to suppress it but ok. Quite possibly I could try and contact the owner of the website and ask for permission to use the information. Bold headings

Thanks for your edits to Tulsa. However section titles should not be in bold, so I'm going to undo that part. That's all. — Lights and freedom ( talk ~ contribs) 05:56, 27 September 2021 (UTC) reply

Yes, i understand that they shouldn’t be bolded, but they are sub heading (well a sub heading within a sub heading). Not to sound too opinionated, but the alternative of leaving it as is seems to lack the emphasis that it’s an inner section of the main section. There should be some selection to differentiate the sections from the main portion of the section. The lettering is the same font size as the words within the passage, so there is no distinct part between the title and the information. While i’ll agree their that the bold should no longer be needed a do i suggest their should be some kind of fix to this situation. Just a suggestion, and thanks for the calm correction Jerry Steinfield ( talk) 06:07, 27 September 2021 (UTC) reply

To me, those headings already look bold by default, and I don't think bolding them even changes how they look at all. — Lights and freedom ( talk ~ contribs) 14:39, 27 September 2021 (UTC) reply

I guess that was a from a certain point of view thing because it seemed to be the opposite for me at least. But yes i understand your thoughts on the bolding Jerry Steinfield ( talk) 17:41, 27 September 2021 (UTC) reply

I see that the mobile website appears how you are describing. This affects all Wikipedia articles and you might want to bring it up at Wikipedia:Village pump (miscellaneous) for further discussion. — Lights and freedom ( talk ~ contribs) 17:59, 27 September 2021 (UTC) reply
