For example, the etymology of Pikamander2's name stems from the Pokemon species Pikachu and Charmander and was created for the now-defunct site Pokemon Crater, a fan-made 2D MMO game. The suffix 2, originally chosen because the name "Pikamander" was unavailable, now serves as a backronym that refers to the Generation 2 Pokemon Porygon2.
