I chose this non fiction book from the NMC library because I think it will be incredibly informative to the details leading up to the separation of the Cherokee and the formation of the Chickamauga people and also the battles that outlined the story.

I chose this source as it also gave great details of the inner workings of Chief Dragging Canoe and the events that lead up to the Cherokee being pushed out of the territory. It also gives amazingly great details about the treaties that took place around this time, which I believe plays a key factor in this article when discussing land separation. This book is non fiction as well, but the author is a little more personal in this one, with bias and emotion. I had to be careful when reciting the information as to not put emotion, but facts into the article.
