Daniel Okwuy Okwute (born 25 September 2003) is an Irish professional footballer who plays for Kerry, as a striker.
Okwute grew up in Killarney and joined Killarney Celtic at the age of 11, and started playing for Kerry at the under-16 level. [2] [3] He signed for English club Stockport County in September 2022, [4] [5] [6] being on the bench for the first-team. [7]
He moved on loan to Warrington Rylands 1906 in January 2023, [8] [9] and to Finn Harps in February 2023. [10]
He signed for Kerry on a permanent basis in July 2023. [11] [12]
Born in Ireland, Okwute has a Nigerian father and a South African mother. [2]
