Time in Tunisia is given by a single time zone, officially denoted as Central European Time (CET; UTC+01:00). [1] [2] [3] Tunisia adopted WAT on 12 April 1911, [4] and does not observe daylight saving time, [2] though previously it has. [5]

Daylight saving time

Tunisia previously observed daylight saving time – advancing the clock forward one hour [5] – between 1939 and 1945, 1977 and 1978, 1988 and 1990, and finally between 2006 [6] and 2008. [5] [7]
