Woolworth gun

The 'Woolworth gun' has nothing to do with Woolworth. Luckz ( talk) 14:37, 27 August 2010 (UTC) reply

Well, especially with a former company, you have to rely more on cultural and building references. While the gun was not manufactured or distributed by Woolworth's, it was associated with them as being cheap junk. That being said, the connection is probably the weakest of any of the articles here so I wouldn't object to you removing it. RevelationDirect ( talk) 13:18, 12 September 2010 (UTC) reply

I got rid of it. Made no sense to keep it in the box. Its reference is where it belongs, as a one line entry on the woolworth gun's page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HallucigeniaUK ( talkcontribs) 16:03, 29 December 2012 (UTC) reply

Eventually separating out Foot Locker

It makes sense that, over time, Foot Locker will develop enough of a history on it's own that we should break out a new template. Right now, 17 articles relate to the old Woolworth's while only 5 are about the remnant of Foot Locker. If we added more of the sporting events though, FL might become more viable..
