Divison by region

No reference given for regional divisions, Berkeley mentioned but does correspond to changes made: http://emp.lbl.gov/sites/all/files/lbnl-188167.pdf divides regions completely differently. Djflem ( talk) 14:19, 9 September 2015 (UTC) reply

Yes it was based on the 2014 wind tech. market report. But I had made several mistakes. Namely
  • West Va and Maryland were in Northeast instead of southwest and
  • Interior was labelled Central Plains.

I also had combined Great Plains and Northeast. Since Alaska and Hawaii were not included on the map in the report, I combined them with the West region and labelled it West and Pacific. -- 74.38.77.101 ( talk) 23:43, 9 September 2015 (UTC) reply

Does not meet Wikipedia:Verifiability. Changes remain inconsistent with cited reference. As other sources group states differently this arbitrary choice is better left out. Djflem ( talk) 06:31, 13 September 2015 (UTC) reply

Groupings like this in templates do not have to be 'verifiable'. -- 74.38.77.101 ( talk) 19:11, 13 September 2015 (UTC) reply
Groupings should be based on something other than the perception of one editor (who initially cited a reference for verifiability) and in this case needs consensus,, which has not been reached. Djflem ( talk) 12:11, 14 September 2015 (UTC) reply
