The portal link doesn't belong in this template. Portal links are placed in the "See also" section, while navigational templates are at the bottom of the page. This means that articles like Tea party movement either have multiple portals split up, with this one being on its lonesome at the bottom of the page, or have the portal link unnecessarily repeated. For articles that only require a single portal link, if it's at the bottom of this template alone it's going to be very hard to find for the average reader.--~ T P W 15:48, 25 November 2011 (UTC) reply

Libertarianism is not a component of the Tea Party Movement. The Tea Party is socially conservative, libertarians are not; they're socially liberal. I'm removing right-libertarianism from the box. Right-libertarianism is put forth by the Libertarian Party and the Libertarian Party wholly rejects ALL members of the Tea Party movement.

There are no legitimate libertarians that are apart of the Tea Party movement. Individuals like Rand Paul and Ted Cruz are grossly miscategorized by the ignorant media when they term them libertarians. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.150.184.160 ( talk) 08:58, 24 December 2016 (UTC) reply
