Hello. This template, as it currently stands, is a tour de force as regards content, but, for that very reason, seems far too bulky for its purpose. (That some of the links are presented in bold, which I believe is non-standard, is a clue.) Perhaps it might be better as two templates (Arctic exploration, Antarctic exploration) and/or with (most of) the "sublinks" (links in brackets) removed, for example..?
