Notability of Betsy Ross

Betsy Ross was deleted from this template on with a edit summary that said i believe contemporary research has shown that much of the "betsy ross flag" is fictional and/or unsubstantiated at best; as such, not notable enough for inclusion in an infobox such as this... I included it in the original template as it would seem she would be among the items a fifth grader would associate with Pennsylvania in the Revolution-- Liberty Bell, Declaration of Independence, Independence Hall. I would be interested what others think. Americasroof 16:51, 22 September 2007 (UTC) reply

Most of the items seem to have nothing to do with Pennsylvania more than any other state, so this template seems unnecessary given the template {{ American Revolutionary War}}. ypnypn ( talk) 02:04, 24 August 2011 (UTC) reply

Format

I think that this template needs to be updated and expanded a bit. The current format is a timeline of events. Following the Civil War template would provide better information on Pennsylvania during the Revolution: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Pennsylvania_in_the_Civil_War — Preceding unsigned comment added by JC1008 ( talkcontribs) 08:16, 26 March 2013 (UTC) reply
