Extinct languages

I think it would be helpful to list extinct languages such as Jurchen, Khitan and Tangut under a separate "Extinct" section rather than putting them under "Indigenous". BabelStone ( talk) 20:27, 11 June 2015 (UTC) reply

French, German and Japanese as minority languages

I was interested to see these three languages included under the "minority languages" section of this template. I personally would not have thought of these as "minority languages" of China in any particular way. What exactly is the criteria for including these languages as such? This needs to be made clear, as none of these appear to actually be recognised as minority languages by the PRC government, for instance. Bambi'nin annesi ( talk) 12:59, 13 October 2016 (UTC) reply
