Need ontology

This navbox is a grouping of existing Wikipedia articles which cover the concept of a generation, and especially which cover international concepts about generational differences which are not culture-specific. There are a lot of Wikipedia articles on specific generations which I did not include here. Someone else might.

I looked briefly for an overview of the concept of a generation. I could not find one. If someone has an ontology which deconstructs the concept into its parts then that would be useful for redesigning this navbox. Blue Rasberry (talk) 00:17, 1 February 2015 (UTC) reply

People

I removed the People row since Strauss and Howe are both already mentioned in the Strauss–Howe generational theory link so it's redundant to mention them again in the template, especially when they don't do anything else generation-related besides having come up with the theory and doing consulting services around it. And there aren't really prominent/authoritative 'people' in this field either, especially when demographic research organizations are the ones doing the majority of research on generations. I agree. If we find there is a sufficient number of prominent/authoritative people in the field later then we can re-add it. BappleBusiness ( talk) 01:50, 30 June 2021 (UTC) reply
