This template should include things like whitewater rafting, BASE jumping, hot air ballooning, and caving, to name a few. Maybe even abandoned mine exploration, stock car racing, and Zorbing. If snowboarding is included, so should downhill skiing and telemark skiing. If surfing is included, so should scuba diving. I don't consider skateboarding an extreme sport at all but media promotion has made it one so I won't argue for it's removal at this point, but in any case this template is horribly incomplete. 173.59.192.55 ( talk) 07:12, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Longboarding is mentioned as an extreme sport, no source given and extreme sport is not mentioned in the article on longboarding. Seems like this list/template is largely based on POV or OR.
