Explanation

This only includes institutions in the city limits of St. Louis. The only school district in the St. Louis city limits is SLPS ( text list).
Note multiple places with "St. Louis, MO" postal addresses are not in the St. Louis city limits.
Places in St. Louis County (which are not in St. Louis City) with "St. Louis, MO" postal addresses are at Template:Education in St. Louis County, Missouri.

I emphasize this because many drive by editors may think a school district with a school with a "St. Louis, MO" address has it in St. Louis when it doesn't. The USPS does not designate postal city names by municipal limits, as the City of Houston stated in its Kingwood 1996 FAQ (the City of Houston annexed Kingwood, Texas, but the address remained as Kingwood, Texas instead of changing to Houston because the USPS does not make address city names based on jurisdictional boundaries, as the page explains). The Census Bureau maps make it clear only SLPS is the school district for St. Louis.

text list" is for people who have trouble with their computers or phones and can't open PDFs. The text lists how how many school districts are in a county. St. Louis city, which is equivalent to a county, has only one: SLPS. I know many St Louis County districts have schools with "St. Louis, MO" postal addresses but those places arent in St. Louis.
