- There should be verification for inclusion of links on the template. If the article on the topic doesn't show it is considered avant-garde, then it should be removed from the nav box. What are the current criteria for inclusion on this list? Given the above discussion it seems that there is none. Thus I propose that a mention of the genre as avant-garde on the genre's article and preferably in a cited source be used as criteria. Thus I propose that if the item is not described as avant-garde anywhere in its article, and one wishes to do so, one may remove the item followed by posting a comment here regarding the removal according to this criteria (under a heading such as "Removed: Uncited"). - according to this criterion, the articles on Conceptual_art, Cubo-Futurism, Divisionism, Ego-Futurism, Fauvism, Impressionism, Neo-impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Color_Field, Minimalism_(visual_arts), Incoherents, Neue_Slowenische_Kunst, Vorticism should all be removed.
