order of names

to attempt to order names by "ranking" is a subjective order by whom? simplest is to present by alphabetical order. -- 98.113.187.11 ( talk) 08:16, 22 December 2009 (UTC) reply

see Wikipedia:Lists#Organization remember, the template must be clear to the reader.-- 98.113.187.11 ( talk) 05:09, 23 December 2009 (UTC) reply

no rule against red links of notable persons; gibson is still a personality of abc news

1. this is a template. if a person merits mention (pierre thomas, ron claiborne, et al.) in this template, the person merits a wikipedia article. there is no rule against red links. it is just that an article hasn't been created yet.

2. gibson merely retired from anchoring the nightly news broadcast. he did not retire from abc news. his role might not be quite clear at moment, but that will come (he may perhaps contribute to specials, etc.) whatever he does, until he "retires" from the news division, he is clearly still an "abc news personality" and should appear somewhere in this navigational template. -- 98.113.187.11 ( talk) 11:33, 29 December 2009 (UTC) reply
