Remove last section?

I propose we remove the last few sentences, from "In many parts ..." to "...... Frank Leghorn". These sentences are not relevant, are a bit tendentious, seem to be written for the writer's children ("things which are nasty"), and are scarcely English - the sentence before last ("We use these methods [er ... what methods?] to our benefits and also for the waste which always occur when we take the animals and add them"), in fact, is garbled, ungrammatical and totally incomprehensible. Or do we have a case of vandalism here anyway? Maelli ( talk) 05:28, 4 May 2016 (UTC) reply

Extraction vs Abstraction?

Is "water extraction" the same as "water abstraction"? ("water abstraction" redirects to here) If so, can someone please confirm and add a statement to this effect? dq ( talk) 19:45, 30 October 2018 (UTC) reply
