Is it "edge of my hand" or "ledge of my hand"? The picture on this page says ledge, but the text says "edge". I've always heard "edge".

There are far too many to list in an encyclopedic article. These are better found in sites like AllMusic [1] and SecondHandSongs. [2] To include covers in WP articles requires that they be recognized by a reliable source as somehow noteworthy, such as in an album review or artist bio, or by appearing in a reputable record chart (see WP:SONGCOVER). It was the first one that came to my mind, but all that AllMusic has to say is "the [SRV] cover of 'Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)' is too reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix's original". [3] Do you have reliable sources that have more substance? — Ojorojo ( talk) 18:25, 25 November 2022 (UTC) reply

Stevie Ray Vaughan recorded "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" for his second album, Couldn't Stand the Weather (1984).[GW] He explained in a 1985 interview: "I love Hendrix’s music ... and I just feel it's important for people to hear him."[GW] Although he follows Hendrix's original, "he still manages to make it his own", according to Far Out magazine contributor Sam Kemp.[FO] Guitar World's Damian Fanelli adds "His [Vaughan's] uncanny ability to smooth out some of Hendrix’s weirder edges without losing any of the music’s power or excitement allowed him to credibly deliver Jimi’s avant-garde blues to a whole new generation of guitar fanatics."[GW] Vaughan often performed the song in concert[GP] and live versions are included on the albums Live Alive (1986) and Live at Montreux 1982 & 1985 (2001).[AM]
