Recent Removals

I don't think the removals by Gobonobo helped the page. It was reverted back to Kennethaw88's version. The links to the private schools websites are helpful to guide the reader to more information, as they do not have their own Wikipedia pages. Additionally, some of the names are common enough that a search for the given name might yield different schools with the same name; it is helpful to rely on the link that was provided rather than making the reader guess if they have the right one.

Other info was removed without much reason. It was cited, informative, and relative to the culture of the county. Didn't see much reason for the removal.

Untitled

There are 17 municipalities within St. Charles County, not 21. They are: Augusta, Cottleville, Dardenne Prairie, Flint Hill, Foristell, Josephville, Lake St. Louis, New Melle, O'Fallon, Portage Des Sioux, St. Charles, St. Paul, St. Peters, Weldon Spring, Weldon Spring Heights, Wentzville and West Alton; Source: Corporate Limits PDF file. The remainder, Defiance, Harvester, Matson and Orchard Farm are Census Designated Places within unincorporated areas. These should also include Black Walnut, Cappeln, Femme Osage, Gilmore, Kampville, Machens, Marthasville, Schluersburg, Seeburger and South Shore. Smakky 01:26, 18 April 2007 (UTC) reply

Requested move

I've proposed moving this page to its abbreviated form St. Charles County, Missouri as it is by its abbreviated form that St. Charles County is known by itself and throughout Greater St. Louis. -- Millbrooky ( talk) 15:58, 13 May 2008 (UTC) reply

Why no map?

Why do we not have a map or not seem to have a map of St. Charles County? Thank you. CountMacula ( talk) 03:29, 22 April 2012 (UTC) reply

Westplex

We should start the process of merging Westplex in to this article per its AFD. It should have improved sources, however — maybe under the heading "Subregions", although I'm not sure if there are any other subregions to list. — Confession0791 talk 22:21, 24 February 2018 (UTC) reply

Proposed merge with St. Charles City-County Library

The library system does not meet notability guidelines on it's own, the useful information should be moved into St. Charles County, Missouri. Ifnord ( talk) 02:32, 9 November 2018 (UTC) reply

Please add information as to why/where it's felt this library system does not meet notability, since that is the stated opinion. — ADavidB 12:22, 9 November 2018 (UTC) reply
While the article could use some work I think it meets WP:Notability. It has been four months since this was proposed. I’ll remove the banner if there are no objections. Grey Wanderer ( talk) 03:58, 18 February 2019 (UTC) reply

Proposed deletion of primary results (here and in all other MO counties)

Under the Politics/Federal section, I've noticed that in other states, the counties only list election results for the presidential race; there's no mention of primary results anywhere. Looking at this page's section, what value is added by the 2008, 2012, and 2016 primary results entries? Presumably, if someone were interested in primaries that far back, they could go to the respective year's election where primaries are listed.

I therefore propose that in this page (and in all other MO county Wiki pages) we scrub these entries to just keep the presidential results table. Einsteinboricua ( talk) 14:16, 12 August 2022 (UTC) reply
