It is considered by the US Census as an outlying county to the San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara Metropolitan Area. This means that at least 25% of the employed population of San Benito County works in Santa Clara County. Polaron | Talk 21:13, 5 June 2006 (UTC) reply

AMBAG and ABAG ARE NOT governmental agencies. They are volunteer represented associations of governmental agencies dedicated towards facilitating mutuals goals (and getting money from Sacramento). They have nothing to do with defining the borders of either Bay Areas except that they are supposed to represent their respected governmental agencies (usually by county but sometimes by city). 74.220.74.40 ( talk) 06:02, 29 March 2008 (UTC) reply
