Misato?

Is there a town/village in Kodama District, Saitama named Misato? The list under the district includes a link to the city of Misato, Saitama. If there is also a village/town, I think the article for the place that is not the city should be named Misato, Saitama (Kodama). -- Rick Block 02:44, 19 Jan 2005 (UTC)

What did the capital use to be before the creation of Saitama City? Was it Urawa? (Urawa ward is the location of the government buildings) Nik42 06:14, 8 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, I believe it was Urawa -- ran ( talk) 15:42, Mar 8, 2005 (UTC)

The prefectural capital is presently in Urawa-ku, Saitama, so unless it moved, it was previously in Urawa-shi. Fg2 21:36, 5 May 2006 (UTC) reply
I checked a 1997 map I had lying in the closet. The prefecture office is in the same spot as it is now, so, Urawa is correct. Neier 12:12, 6 May 2006 (UTC) reply

Geography

"The eastern section of the southern border line, however, does overlap with any geological feature" - I assume given the preceding sentence concerning geological features at the other borders, that this is supposed to be "does not overlap", but as it has remained as "does" for at least several years I would appreciate if someone with appropriate knowledge could check this. 62.56.55.159 ( talk) 14:48, 26 April 2014 (UTC) reply
