Covers

Many song pages include mention of other artists who have covered the song. This one has been covered by at least Duane Allman and Lou Reed. Why not here?

Sources

I've got some more links, not sure though whether to use them in the article:

  • songfacts references the biography by John Collis and states that song was inspired by an event from Chuck's youth.
  • Keith Richards mentions it as one of Chuck Berry's notable works
  • RS review of the "Chuck Berry: Johnny B. Goode/His Complete `50s Chess Recordings" collection

I anyone has print/digital copies of "Chuck Berry: The Biography" and "The Rolling Stone Illustrated History of Rock and Roll" it would be great to use them to expand the article. Salmin ( talk) 23:00, 26 May 2017 (UTC) reply
