NYC neighborhoods with more 80k inhabitants

NYC neighborhoods with more 80k inhabitants It hasn't been absolutely easy, but I have doing a research to know how many and what neighborhoods in NYC have over 80k inhabitants. This is the list, but it is possible that there are some errors :

MANHATTAN 1) Upper East Side : 212.000 2) Upper West Side : 210.000 3) Washington Heights : 150.000 4) Harlem : 125.000 5) East Harlem : 120.000 6) Lower East Side : 91.500

BROOKLYN 1) East New York : 180.000 2) Bed - Stuy : 155.000 3) Borough Park : 136.000 4) Williamsburgh : 135.000 5) Crown Heights : 125.000 6) Sheepshead Bay : 123.000 7) Sunset Park : 120.000 8) Bushwick : 113.000 9) East Flatbush : 110.000 10) Flatbush : 100.000 11) Gravesend : 96.000 12) Midwood : 87.000 13) Canarsie : 82.000

QUEENS 1) Jamaica : 217.000 2) Flushing : 176.000 3) Astoria : 144.000 4) Ridgewood : 92.000 5) Jackson Heights : 92.000 6) Elmhurst : 90.000 7) Corona : 85.000

BRONX 1) Williamsbridge : 90.000

STATEN ISLAND 1) Willowbrook : 92.000

P.S: In many sites ( even on Wikipedia ) there are numbers totally wrong because it is considered the number of inhabitants of the ZIP CODE of a neighborhood. This is a great error because many neighborhoods have the same ZIP CODE. Therefore I hope that my numbers can be more near to the reality. 151.75.55.32 ( talk) 19:21, 1 September 2012 (UTC) reply

Neighborhood Demographics

I removed this section as WP:USI, it's been marked as unsourced from four years. Any editor who wants to retain this material should cite sources, as per WP:BURDEN. Fitnr ( talk) 13:29, 19 September 2013 (UTC) reply

In the future, please just say "unsourced", as "WP:USI" is a pretty obscure initialism. Beyond My Ken ( talk) 16:24, 19 September 2013 (UTC) reply

Dead neighborhoods

I'm still trying to find evidence of the following neighborhoods;

  • Morris Park, Queens which is apparently swallowed up by Richmond Hill, or perhaps part of Ozone Park.
  • Hillside, Queens, which seems to have been between Jamaica and Hollis.
  • Woodstock, Bronx and Foxhurst, Bronx, both of which seem to be part of Longwood, Bronx now.

Has anyone considered filling these in? --------- User:DanTD ( talk) 14:05, 18 November 2015 (UTC) reply

notability

Although I love the back and forth about NYC neighborhoods, this doesn't appear to be a notable subject in and of itself. I propose deletion. NewkirkPlaza ( talk) 17:52, 17 February 2018 (UTC) reply
