As it stands right now, this article is nothing more than a blatant ad for a restaurant and a few hotels. What's the deal? I will do what I can when I get time, but I would encourage others to clean up this article. Take a look at Grand Forks, North Dakota or Minot, North Dakota if you wanna see what a city article should look like. -- MatthewUND 08:41, Jun 21, 2005 (UTC)

  • I listed the hotel with wifi purely because I took a trip there from Wisconsin and was impressed to find free wifi. I thought that was worthy for other people who might be coming to Moorhead to know. -- Grassferry49 09:17 June 22, 2005
  • Such information would be better suited for wikitravel, not wikipedia. -- MatthewUND 22:05, Jun 22, 2005 (UTC)
  • Didn't even know such a thing existed, I'll have to make use of it from now on -- Grassferry49 24:17 June 22, 2005

I fixed the article now. It is no longer an ad. -- MatthewUND 23:17, Jun 22, 2005 (UTC)

While I respect your eagerness to help Wikipedia and help this article in particular, I have to inform you of two important things about Wikipedia. First, I must let you know that no one can claim they are the "head" of any article. No one "owns" a Wikipedia article...read Wikipedia:Ownership of articles. Anyone can edit this article in any way they see fit. There is no need for them to post here first and seek your permission.
Also, it is important for you to know that copy right infringement is a serious thing. Your edits about the Moorhead school system were taken verbatim from this website. Your edits about MUSM were taken verbatim from this website. The law enforcement material was taken verbatim from this website. These contributions were nothing more than copy and pastes. This is not allowed here...please read Wikipedia:Copyrights. If you want to contribute to articles, you must use only your own original wording. You may not take material from other websites and paste them here as you have done. If you continue to do so, your edits will be continue to be reverted. I hope you can become a constructive contributer to this and other articles. -- MatthewUND( talk) 09:04, 25 January 2007 (UTC) reply

Fair use rationale for Image:MHDcitylogo.jpg

Image:MHDcitylogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
