I am Marlee, a disclosed COI editor, and I am requesting the following edits to update and add accuracy to the Introduction which has become severely outdated since Manhattan West recently opened. The following paragraph should replace the current introductory paragraph. The style and content adhere closely to the current intro, and adds sources to support the new information.

Manhattan West is a 7-million-square-foot (650,000 m2) mixed-use development by Brookfield Properties. ^[1] The project spans 8-acres and features four office towers, one boutique hotel, one residential building, ^[2] 240,000-square-feet (22,300 m2) of retail space and a 2.5-acre (1 hectare) public plaza. ^{[3] [4]} Part of the Hudson Yards neighborhood redevelopment, the project was built on a platform over Penn Station storage tracks along Ninth Avenue, ^[5] close to the Hudson Yards mega-development to the west across Tenth Avenue ^[6] and to the Moynihan Train Hall and Penn Station to the east across Ninth Avenue. ^[2] The taller west tower extends 995 feet (303 m) up to its roof and is one of the tallest buildings in New York City. ^[7] The project was largely completed in 2021 and held its grand opening on 28 September 2021. ^[8]

Hello again. First, I would like to thank Heartmusic678 for their help with the Introduction, who I am pinging in the hope that they would also like to help with my additional edit request to the History section as follows:

1. Please begin the History section with the following words. The rest of the paragraph remains the same: First conceived as a project in the 1990s, ^[1] ground was broken for the site...
2. In the first paragraph of the History section, please change "is" to "was" in the sentence "...the complex was set to be completed by 2020.
3. Please add the word "the" in front of "Long Island Rail Road".
4. In the third paragraph, please remove the last two sentences. They are not pertinent to the Manhattan West project, seem a bit promotional, and do not add to the understanding of the subject. The important contribution of QIA is already mentioned in the second paragraph. Just to be clear, the sentences I would like removed are as follows: The QIA was referred to as an "early bird" for their investment in an area that has not yet come under widespread development. This strategy assumes taking on more development risk in the hope of better returns.
5. Please add the following as the fourth paragraph of the History section: During the summer of 2020 Manhattan West opened "Citrovia" a whimsical outdoor "citrus garden" of 19-foot constructed lemon trees bearing hand-painted lemon slices in order to camouflage the scaffolding on the construction site. ^[2] The interactive display will close when Two Manhattan West is scheduled to open. ^[3]
6. Please add the following as the last paragraph of the History section, after the last sentence "The project officially opened to the public in late September 2021": In September 2021 a $50 million plan to build pedestrian bridges connecting the High Line and Manhattan West was announced by New York Governor Kathy Hochul and Brookfield Properties. ^[4]

1. At the end of the History section, please begin a new section called "Location" with the following two descriptive sentences. I believe it is important to place the project not just within specific street borders, but also within the context of the landmarks that connect with the project. "The development is located on the west side of Manhattan, bound by Ninth Avenue on the east; Tenth Avenue on the west; W 31st Street on the south and W 33rd Street on the north. ^{[1] [2] [3]} It connects Madison Square Garden, Penn Station, the Moynihan Train Hall, Hudson Yards and the High Line with offices, hotels, entertainment, shopping, residences and more. ^[4]"
2. Please change the Heading name "Buildings" to "The Project" which is more descriptive of the content of that section. And please add the following two sentences directly under the new section heading: "The project consists of a total of six buildings: four office buildings, One and Two Manhattan West, the Lofts and Five Manhattan West; the Pendry Manhattan West Hotel; and the Eugene apartment building. As a "city-within-a-city" it also includes Magnolia Court, a 2.5-acre pedestrian plaza, outfitted with moveable chairs, benches and tables, which is open to the public. ^[5]

First, I would like to thank MainlyTwelve for their last set of edits which did a great deal to improve the article, and went beyond what I had asked for in my request, which I very much appreciate. I also want to thank them for their kind remarks to me as a writer/editor. At the moment I am quite busy with work, but perhaps one day I will take them up on their suggestion to edit Wikipedia outside of my employment responsibilities. That being said, I have some more requests for edits on the page:

• Please change the headings 1 Manhattan West, 2 Manhattan West and 5 Manhattan West to One Manhattan West, Two Manhattan West and Five Manhattan West. These are the names of the buildings and should be written out as words. If you look at how the buildings are referred to in the press, the words are used, and not the numerals. Here are just a few examples: ^{[1] [2] [3]} The names should be changed in the descriptions that follow as well as in the titles of the sections.
• Please change the heading 3 Manhattan West to "The Eugene (Three Manhattan West)" which is its proper name and secondary name. ^{[4] [5]} Both names should appear in the heading of the section, but please use The Eugene in the description of the building that follows.
• Please change the heading 4 Manhattan West to "Pendry Manhattan West (Four Manhattan West)", the main name and secondary name. ^[6] Please just use "Pendry" in the description that follows the heading.
• Following the paragraph about Five Manhattan West please add the sixth building, which is The Lofts, with the following description: The Lofts is a circa 1913 brick building on 33rd Street that was redesigned as an updated, flexible workspace. ^[7]

1. In the subsection "One Manhattan West" please change the first paragraph to the following: One Manhattan West is one of five buildings developed by Brookfield Property Partners and QIA for the Manhattan West project. Designed and engineered by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, ^{[1] [2]} ground was broken on the building in 2015. ^[3]
2. Create a third paragraph beginning with the second sentence from the first paragraph, as follows: The 67-story, 2.1 million square-foot structure topped out in August 2018 and was completed in 2019. ^[4]
3. In the subsection "Two Manhattan West" please remove outdated information and the last sentence which should also be moved to the Tenants section. The paragraph should read as follows: Two Manhattan West, also engineered by Skidmore, Owings and Mills, is scheduled for completion in 2023. ^[4] Permits filed in November 2017 showed the building will span just under 1.75 million square feet (163,000 m2) of office space on 69 stories and rise 935 feet (285 m) high. In January 2019, Brookfield announced that construction of the building would begin in 2019 despite not having signed an anchor tenant. The building reached its full height of 935 feet in December 2021. ^[5]
4. The subsection The Eugene should read as follows after some simple copy-editing to remove redundancies and other issues: The Eugene, also referred to as Three Manhattan West, located at 435 West 31st Street, is a 62-story residential building that broke ground in December 2014 and was completed in 2017. ^[6] It is 730 feet (220 m) high and has a total of 834 apartments, divided between 675 market-rate units and 169 affordable units. ^[7]
5. Please change the subsection about Pendry Manhattan West to the following, which updates the opening, fixes some grammar points, and adds a bit of information at the end: The Pendry is a 21-story hotel operated by Pendry Hotels with 164 guest rooms including 30 suites, a restaurant, a lounge, an open-air terrace bar, and meeting and event space. The building, also designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill, began construction in December 2018 and opened on 17 September 2021. ^[8] It is the Pendry brand's first New York City location. ^{[7] [9]}
6. Please make some small edits to the Five Manhattan West section, which adds a small amount of new information. The new mention of Rex Architects is found in the present source. The paragraph should read as: Formerly known as Westyard Distribution Center, the building at 450 West 33rd Street was designed by Davis Brody Bond and originally opened in 1969. The 1.8-million-square-foot (170,000 m2), 16-story building originally had a beige precast concrete façade with a sloped base, and although the façade was cleaned up in 2003, it was seen as out of place with the architecture of the surrounding neighborhood. As of 2014, it contained the headquarters of the Associated Press. In 2014, the brutalist concrete exterior was replaced with a glass façade by Rex Architects. Its interior and mechanical systems were also renovated. When renovation of the building was completed, it was renamed Five Manhattan West.

Hi FULBERT. Thanks for your past help. I have another request to update the page. The entire "Tenants" section is outdated. I suggest replacing all the content that is there now with the following content:

By October 2019, when One Manhattan West opened, 90 percent of the tower's square footage was already occupied. Tenants include the law firm Skadden Arps, Slate, Meagher, & Flom, LLP; the National Hockey League headquarters ^[1] and flagship retail store; ^[2] Accenture; ^[3] Ernst & Young; ^[4] McKool Smith; ^[5] WP Carey; ^[6] and Pharo. ^[7]

Also, in October 2019, the law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore signed to have its headquarters at Two Manhattan West as an anchor tenant, occupying 13 floors. A moving-in date is projected to be sometime in 2024. ^[8]

Manhattan West also rents space to a variety of entertainment, dining, and shopping venues including Casa Dani; ^[9] Ci Siamo; ^[10] Zou Zou's; ^[11] Starbucks; Daily Provisions; Citizens New York Food Hall; Whole Foods; Peloton store and studio; ^[12] and Katsuya. ^[13]

Hi FULBERT and MainlyTwelve. A careful read of the Development and Two Manhattan West sections reveals there are some inaccuracies and discrepancies that I would like to correct.

• In the second paragraph of the Development section, the last part of the second sentence is misleading. Of the five buildings making up the project, three of them are skyscrapers, not just the two mentioned in the sentence. The reason for this mistake is that the original sentence relies on an old source. I suggest making a small change to the second sentence and adding a third sentence which clarifies that a third skyscraper was added to the plans, as follows: The deal included the formation of a joint venture between Brookfield Property Partners and QIA for the development of 7 million square feet (650,000 m2) of residential and office space in five buildings that Brookfield said would be worth $8.6 billion upon completion. Initial plans included a 62-story residential tower and 67-story skyscraper. ^[1] In 2017, plans for an additional, 59-story skyscraper were filed. ^[2]
• In the Two Manhattan West section the sources do not properly support the statements. I would like to suggest that this section be re-written as follows, using the accompanying sources: Two Manhattan West, also engineered by Skidmore, Owings and Mills, is scheduled for completion in 2023. ^[3] Permits filed in November 2017 showed the building to include just under 1.75 million square feet (163,000 m2) of office space on 59-stories with plans to reach 935 feet (285 m) in height. ^{[4] [2]} Construction began at the end of 2019. ^[5] In 2022 the building topped out at 58 stories with 2 million square feet, and is due to open by the end of 2023. ^[6]
• Because of the corrections in the body of the article supported by current sources, the Infobox for Two Manhattan West should also be updated with the correct information.

That sentence, aside from being sourced, factual and relevant, is also a necessary lead-in to the next sentence.
