Edit warring

Why am I being accused of edit warring? I am simply cleaning up the article, that's all. Please stop accusing me of edit warring already. Music2247 ( talk) 18:18, 8 December 2019 (UTC) reply

@ Music2247: Have you actually read Wikipedia:Edit warring ? I'm leaving now, for today, I've let myself get TOO involved. Some other editors will be messaging you (I'm sure). Good luck with your tenure here. - FlightTime ( open channel) 18:28, 8 December 2019 (UTC) reply
@Music2247: I'll give you some useful advice. When you encounter resistence in the form of multiple editors reverting several of your edits for a variety of reasons, you should take everyone's advice and familiarize yourself with the rules and guidelines, and then choose discussion over edit warring. You are perilously close to losing your editing privileges right now. Wikipedia doesn't care about opinions, it cares about verifiability. But be stubborn and find out the hard way if that's your choice. You may be right in your arguments, you may be wrong, that's why discussion is preferred over edit warring. One course of action might help you get your edits approved, but the other definitly won't. SolarFlash ( talk) 20:31, 8 December 2019 (UTC) reply
Just a followup on this: User Music2247 was subsequently banned for edit warring and socking. He was still here editing anonymously as Special:Contributions/24.127.236.115 until the IP was also blacked, and he's also still active as X-ma998. Be on the lookout, there may be also more socks. "Rock and Roll" Hall of Fame

Regarding this, in the first paragraph "Judas Priest has been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2020 class." Should we modify now that the band has officially been snubbed by the so-called R&RHOF? I'm too angry to do it right now, but if you can do it and remain objective then please do so. Brummys or from Black Country?

the text says Birmingham but the infobox says "Black Country". Irtapil ( talk) 07:50, 17 January 2021 (UTC) reply

James Vance cause of death

Nothing seems to support that he died of complications of his suicide attempt. Rob Halford writes in his book "Vance has since died of methadone overdose..." I looked up the cited article article, which does not cite a cause of death. I searched for newspaper articles, which either don't mention cause of death, or speculate overdose. about Andy Sneap

I learned from an article in NME Japan that Andy Sneap is still with the band as a touring member. There are currently six members listed in the members section of infobox. Is it a problem to put Sneap, a touring member, in the infobox? -- Hatto ( talk) 12:19, 17 January 2022 (UTC) reply

I'm remove this. Joey Camelaroche ( talk) 13:09, 17 January 2022 (UTC) reply

Founding line-up

The band named Judas Priest that was formed in late 1969, toured Scotland over the winter, lasted up to mid-1970, and was comprised of Al Atkins, Bruno Stapenhill, John Perry/Ernie Chataway, and John Partridge should not be confused with the band Judas Priest, formed in late 1970 as Freight by Ken Downing, Ian Hill, and John Ellis, whom this article is about. The band was renamed to Judas Priest after Atkins, of the "other" Judas Priest joined them, but these are changes to the band Freight (a new member and a new name). I suggest that this page, as well as all other relevant pages on Wikipedia, are changed accordingly, and perhaps the "original" Judas Priest, who at the end of the day played the blues and not heavy rock, could be mentioned on Atkins' page.
