I think the comment about non-encyclopedic tone can be removed.

It is my understanding, please correct me if I'm wrong, that when Diannaa placed that comment last month it was done after removing 3 (?) new paragraphs (& 1 citation) as well as restructuring the content left. Differences were received with her explanation that they were removed for such reason- not that the reason could possibly exist after her efforts.

I personally found the citing of an archive of FBI files of very similar organization's leadership from the 50's through the 70's as quite appropo given this organization is part of that heritage, as are the people they serve as a cultural and educational nfp. What would wiki like added here? I added the first paid employee for that is a significant structural change in operations I thought should be noted. His work records are included in archive #86. Information about a controversy involving another business they took to federal court well documented in HuffPost and elsewhere? Or fluff press like what Billboard wrote when they included Patti LaBelle in their events. As a local organization, I have found reiterations of HOPs pr items picked up globally but not much real news.

Would wiki like more names. All current members where listed on the ABC7 broadcast that is still available on the web? Copyright issues likely, as would be most of their coverage which has been local tv news- unless we have access to that, which IDK.

More information and better linkage to the groups like NERP they are part of, what & when? Do you think it is appropriate to publish any of their financials available in the archive to give the reader some idea of scale.
