The article photo is of a re-issue. The original cover had a painted-over picture of Earl on the street, super-imposed on the street photo - or doctored on the street photo. I bought the record when it first came out (same day, actually) and noticed the next year the change in the cover. Discogs (www.discogs.com) has pictures of the original, un-altered front cover.
