I think this article could benefit from spinning the section "Brooklyn Borough President (2013–2021)" off into its own article. That section is long as-is, and is not the main subject which one desires to read about when looking into Adams. This would be in keeping with other spun-off articles about the early careers of politicians. It would also allow a slight expansion to the content covered about his borough presidency without lengthening this main article any more.

I've started a draft at Draft:Brooklyn borough presidency of Eric Adams. Once this is moved into the article space, the next step would be to abbreviate the section in this article. SecretName101 ( talk) 21:14, 13 November 2023 (UTC) reply

I agree that it's too long but I disagree that it should be split. It needs to be trimmed. There's a lot of WP:NOTNEWS and other non-sequiters in there that we don't need to preserve. –  Muboshgu ( talk) 21:25, 13 November 2023 (UTC) reply
