Table format and info

While the intro of a table format is welcome, the wholesale importation from the NJ colonial governors article is skewed since it is Jersey-centric, which while appropriate there is not here. The addition of a ship's captain has been removed. Djflem ( talk) 04:44, 30 May 2013 (UTC) reply

  • Two sources refer to Tienpoint as Governor. Reverting that removal, with additional sources. Sure, it's NJ centric at the moment, but eventually with a little bit of work (after all the work is never done around here), someone (perhaps you?) can add other tidbits of information relevant to the colony's presence in New York, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island information to add as it is uncovered to the NJ-information that provides "a good start." I might if I have time and inclination. Further, it is rather unseemly to remove information that is supported by appropriate WP:RS-valid references. -- ColonelHenry ( talk) 04:46, 30 May 2013 (UTC) reply

Start years off by 1 ? Starting with Bastiaen Janssen 1631

Looking at the Manual of the Legislature of New Jersey 1963 the start dates differ from the listed start dates in the table. See https://hdl.handle.net/2027/uc1.b4046204?urlappend=%3Bseq=32%3Bownerid=9007199271937983-34 The dates also appear on the individual pages thus this discussion on sourcing of the dates.
