Oppose. There's no question in my mind that the
WP:COMMONNAME term is Champs-Élysées. I not only doubt that most English speakers would call it the "Avenue des Champs-Élysées", I doubt that most are even aware that's the official name.

Slight Oppose - It may be the official name, "but Wikipedia does not necessarily use the subject's 'official' name as an article title" (
WP:Commonname). 'The Champs-Élysées' is the common name in English at least. -- [[axg//✉ ]] 21:31, 4 January 2014 (UTC)reply
Oppose Official, but not common. --

Is there any compelling reason to list famous streets of other cities? The if there's any rhyme or reason to the selection process, it isn't made evident. As a New Yorker I have to wonder why Fifth Avenue instead of Broadway, Madison, or Mercer?

I've tweaked the coordinates a bit; but, frankly, the coordinates you've given above are only a matter of meters from the ones that were in the article.

There doesn't seem anything wrong with the coordinates in the article. Since you haven't provided an explanation of what you think to be in error, there's nothing that can be done to address your concerns.
