I notice that much of this "health" section focuses on Aretha Franklin's weight. It is very rare for male celebrities to have "health" sections, especially those that focus on weight, regardless of body size. I think this section should be reconsidered for Ms. Franklin and in general across gender representation. For example, see Luciano Pavarotti's Wikipedia page for this discrepancy. It is well documented that women face far greater scrutiny for body shape and size than men in comparable roles in society, and that they face discrimination for not fitting a preconceived "feminine" appearance. I agree. I think generally health sections don't belong, as kind of a tabloidization, and here her health as happens with many older people became an issue toward her death, so no life long issue.
