The California State University (Cal State or CSU) is the largest public university system in California as well as the United States at-large, consisting of 23 official campuses (plus eight subsidiary off-campus centers) which together enroll approximately 460,000 students and employ more than 56,000 faculty and staff members. [1] It holds the distinction of being the leading producer of bachelor's degrees in the country, with over 110,000 graduates each year across all fields, among them over 10,000 earned from one of the system's 129 degree-granting programs in engineering (during the 2019–20 academic year [2]).

Undergraduate accreditation

  1. ^ a b This program is recognized as having substantial equivalency from the signatories to the Sydney Accord, a mutual recognition agreement to which its accrediting organization (ABET) is a signatory, along with the equivalent organizations in eleven other nations, providing holders of four-year degrees in Engineering Technology granted at their accredited institutions since 2001 de facto transferability of the degree for licensure or continuing education. [5]
  2. ^ This program is recognized as having substantial equivalency from the signatories to the Washington Accord, an international accreditation agreement to which its accrediting organization (ABET) is a signatory, joined by the organizations responsible for accrediting schools of engineering in 21 other countries, binding all parties to make no distinctions between engineering degrees from any signatory-accredited schools granted since 1989 or the year the accrediting organization became a signatory to the accord, whichever is later.
