Machine translation, like
DeepL or
Google Translate, is a useful starting point for translations, but translators must revise errors as necessary and confirm that the translation is accurate, rather than simply copy-pasting machine-translated text into the English Wikipedia.
Consider adding a topic to this template: there are already 676 articles in the
main category, and specifying|topic= will aid in categorization.
Do not translate text that appears unreliable or low-quality. If possible, verify the text with references provided in the foreign-language article.

The Irpinian dialect, or Irpino, is the dialect of
Neapolitan language spoken in almost all of the
comuni in the
Province of Avellino in the
Italian region of
Campania. It differs from other varieties in certain phrases, pronunciation and the use of definite articles. The dialect is heavily influenced by its geographical neighbours. For example, in the northern area of Avellino, there are some undertones of the
Beneventan dialect; and the
Arianese dialect, spoken in
Ariano Irpino along the border with Apulia, has distinct
Pugliese influences.
