Gökçebey (before 1954: Tefen Pazarı) [2] is a town in Zonguldak Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. It is the seat of Gökçebey District. [3] Its population is 8,673 (2022). [1] It was a town within Devrek District until 1990, [4] and has been a municipality since 1972. The Ankara-Zonguldak railway passes through it. The mayor is Vedat Öztürk ( İYİ).
