Frenship Independent School District is a public school district based in Wolfforth, Texas, United States.
In addition to Wolfforth, the district serves western portions of Lubbock and southwestern Lubbock County. [2] A small part of Hockley County also lies within the district. [3] As of the 2021-2022 school year, the district had 10,860 students. [4]
In 2009, the school district was rated " academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency. [5]
Frenship ISD has 14 schools; four schools are located in Wolfforth, nine are in the city of Lubbock, and one is in Lubbock County.
