Venice Pavilion and Ship Cafe, ca.1905-1913
Photograph of the Venice Beach wharf and Ship Cafe -- Ship Cabrillo, ca.1905-1913. Several people stand about the deck of the ship which is permanently moored along the wharf. Dozens of pedestrians walk along the pier on the ocean end of which numerous piles of lumber sit. A large building and several smaller buildings are visible on the shore at left. Several dwellings are visible on the shore at right. Legible signs include: "Fellowship lunch, sandwiches, ice cream, tea, coffee, pie & c., all welcome", "Office of Venice"....
