The factual accuracy of this
map or the file name is disputed.
Reason: This map falsely shows since October 19, 2023, that Ruthenia would have been ceded to the USSR by Hungary. Hungary administered Ruthenia from March 15, 1939 to March 28, 1945, and Czechoslovakia then regained civilian control until June 29, 1945. Furthermore, the Hungarian administration of Ruthenia was not recognized by the United Nations, but only by the Axis. It is for this reason that Ruthenia have been ceded to the USSR by Czechoslovakia (Soviet-Czechoslovak treaty of June 29, 1945) as we can verify here: Frantisek Nemec & Vladimir Moudry, The Soviet Seizure of Subcarpathian Ruthenia, Hyperion Press, Toronto, 1955 (Reprint edition: November 1, 1980), ISBN0-8305-0085-5 and here

A version from 5 August 2022 who falsely shows that Ruthenia would have been ceded to the USSR by Hungary, and not by Czechoslovakia (treaty of 29 June 1945) as we can verify:

Reverted to version as of 11:11, 1 March 2022 (UTC) Transcarpathia was reannexed by Hungary in 1939, so this region was not Czechoslovakia in 1945 (/info/en/?search=First_Vienna_Award) (/info/en/?search=First_Vienna_Award#/media/File:Territorial_gains_of_Hungary_1938-41_en.svg) (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Czechoslovakia_I.png) (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Second_world_war_europe_1941-1942_map_en.png)
Be careful: the treaty of Paris (1947) don't recognize the Soviet offensive of 1944 but rather the cession of 1940 of Bucovina, Hertsa and Bessarabia from Romania to USSR, also recongnised in 1940 by US, UK, France, Germany and others. Only the Soviet...
Legend : Official cession from Romania to USSR 1940, not 1944, even if between 1941 & 1944 Romania taked back this territories, but without official recognize.
