Summary

Description
English: Sprinter vehicle at maintenance shop in Escondido. The SPRINTER is San Diego's north-county light rail system. The east-west service connects Oceanside, with Escondido to the east. The SPRINTER is controlled by the North County Transit District, and operates on a former right-of-way owned by the BNSF. Connection to the north-south COASTER is made at the Oceanside Transit Center.
