Description
English: Animation of the New Horizons spacecraft's flyby of 2014 MU69, from 04:00 UTC to 07:00 UTC on 1 January 2019. This animation was made with a dedicated module for the Jet Propulsion Laboratory's Eyes on the Solar System simulation software. It includes an inset for "instrument view" and a projection of the fields of view for the Long Range Reconnaissance Imager (LORRI), Ralph telescope, Alice telescope, the Radio Science Experiment (REX), and the Student Dust Counter (SDC).
