Español: Estatua de la
Inmaculada Concepción, ubicada en el
Santuario del Cerro San Cristóbal a unos 863 metros sobre el nivel del mar en
Santiago de Chile. Mide 14 metros de alto y pesa 36.610 kilos. Fue modelada en hierro por el escultor Jaconetti y su valor fue de 35.274 francos de la época. La Fundición Val D'Osne, de París, fue la que la contruyó. En el pedestal que la sostiene existe una capilla en la que S.S.
Juan Pablo II oró y bendijo la ciudad de Santiago en 1987. |
