DescriptionFoundation of the American Government by Henry Hintermeister.jpg
English: Foundation of the American Government by
John Henry Hintermeister.[1] Published by the Osborne company, Newark, N.J. From the painting's copyright description: "Signing of the Constitution. At desk sits Washington watching
Gouverneur Morris sign; behind Morris are
Roger Sherman,
Franklin,
Robert Morris,
Madison and others, and at right
Hamilton and
Randolf." Another copyright registration caption for the Osborne print: "Foundation of American government. Committee signing the Constitution, with Washington presiding and
Gov. Morris signing papers."
This was credited to Henry online everywhere I looked. However, the copyright registration book for 1925 did not separate Henry Hintermeister from John Henry Hintermeister; both used the same Hy Hintermeister signature.

The author died in 1970, so this work is in the public domain in its country of origin and other countries and areas where the
copyright term is the author's life plus 50 years or fewer.
